Backpacking trip to Andalusia #2 stop: Sevilla

Hello dearest unicorn friends

I am back!!! 🙂 I had a lot to do… all kinds of stuff such as finalizing my dissertation, but that is not the topic of today’s post.
Let me pick up where I have left off..Backbacking trip to Andalusia, second stop SEVILLA.

The first day started with gorgeous weather, so we decided to take a walk through the Parque de María Luisa.

During our stay in Sevilla the Feria de Abril took place, so all citizens where dressed up the old-fashioned way.  The streets where full of colourful dresses, horse-drawn carriages decorated with flowers and brightcoloured ornaments.

Later that day we visited the Catedral de Sevilla, near which we grabed something to eat.  For dinner I had a very tasteful steak with some vegetables and potatoes aside.

The second day we acutally went to see the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla. This is where the bullfightings take place.

We could not pass up visiting the Mercado de Triana. Here we bought some ham, fresh backed bread, some olives, of course a delicious piece of manchego cheese and some fruits. We had a picknick in the Parque de María Luisa, where we went for a walk the day before.
